A Vista woman was in jail Friday on two felony charges following a brief highway pursuit in North County, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, authorities on Thursday evening contacted 41-year-old Stefani Goldamer at a home on 1000 block of Brewley Lane in Vista, regarding a warrant for a case of alleged vandalism.

She then drove away from the residence shortly before 10 p.m., authorities said.

Deputies pursued her for about 20 minutes before heavy traffic on northbound U.S. Interstate 15 and eastbound state Route 78 slowed her down, leading to her arrest, the Sheriff’s Office said.

No one was injured during the pursuit, authorities said.

Goldamer was booked into the Las Colinas Detention Facility on suspicion of felony evasion and felony vandalism, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
