Los Angeles County is included in an updated wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:27 a.m. The advisory is valid between 3 a.m. and noon.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “Northeast winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty Santa Ana winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
