A 26-year-old man was fatally wounded near a parking lot in Garden Grove, authorities said Tuesday, Feb 25.
Officers were dispatched at about 11:20 p.m. Friday to the parking near 9622 Garden Grove Blvd., east of Gilbert Street, regarding a shooting that had just occurred, according to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the Garden Grove Police Department.
Officers located the victim and paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he died from his injuries on Monday, Feb. 24, Jensen said.
A police statement identified the victim as Trieu Huynh, Garden Grove.
“The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time,” Jensen added.
