Chula Vista police continued Saturday to investigate the suspicious deaths of aman and woman found dead in their Eastlake residence.
Just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to the 1600 block of Paseo Carina to investigate a call from a neighbor in the townhouse community, police said in a news release.
The caller had concerns about a specific residence, including not having seen the occupants for weeks.
When officers arrived, they conducted a welfare check and located a deceased 57-year-old male and 71-year-old female, believed to be the residents of the townhome.
The Chula Vista Police Department’s violent crimes unit responded. The victims’ identities are being withheld until notification of family members.
