WENDY’S CEO promises ‘exclusive’ and ‘unbeatable’ deals for special customers only, but you need to know where to look.
Wendy’s is rolling out big changes in 2025, focusing on expanding its chicken and beverage offerings, boosting value deals, and enhancing its loyalty platform.
But if customers want to get the best deals, they’ll need to know where to find them, through the Wendy’s app.
Wendy’s CEO Kirk Tanner announced on Thursday that the fast-food giant is set to expand its menu in response to growing demand for chicken and beverages.
Last year, Wendy’s successfully introduced Saucy Nuggets to its core menu, and now, more chicken options are on the horizon.
The company also plans to shake up its breakfast menu with new innovations to maintain strong morning sales.
While other chains have been rolling out meal deals, Wendy’s held back in 2023.
But that’s changing. Wendy’s started 2024 strong with a two-for-$7 meal deal featuring 16 different menu items to mix and match.
Now, the focus is on the beloved $5 Biggie Bag, which offers a Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, along with small fries, four-piece nuggets, and a small drink.
And there’s more to come. If you’re not a Wendy’s loyalty member yet, now’s the time to sign up.
The chain’s loyalty program has hit 46 million members, up 25% from last year and Wendy’s is making it even more rewarding.
Special limited-time deals, available only through the Wendy’s app, will give loyal customers access to exclusive, unbeatable discounts.
“We will deepen connections with our loyalty members and attract new ones by offering exclusive, limited-time, unbeatable deals available only through the Wendy’s app,” Tanner said.
Wendy’s breakfast sales grew 6% last quarter, and the company plans to keep the momentum going.
A larger share of advertising dollars will be dedicated to breakfast, and new menu items will be introduced throughout the year.
