Hinjili BJD Leader Seeks Ban on Prakash Mishra’s Book

Bhubaneswar: Hinjili BJD leader Devananda Mahapatra has sought a complete ban on retired IPS officer Prakash Mishra’s book for fabricated and fictitious writings about former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

In a press briefing, Mahapatra has strongly reacted to the book of Mishra.

Naveen Patnaik is a legendary leader in the national politics. He is well known in every household of Hinjili. His residence “Naveen Niwas” is always open for the people of Hinjili. That’s why Naveen Patnaik has been winning consistently from Hinjili, the BJD leader said.

Prakash Mishra has given such false information in his book only to defame Naveen Patnaik out of greed for power, Mahapatra said.

He further wanted to know whether Mishra was present at the meeting in Hinjili Constituency, which the former IPS officer referred in his book.

Mishra has written highly objectionable content about Naveen Patnaik for cheap publicity, the BJD leader said while seeking an apology from Mishra.

Mahapatra demanded that this book should be completely banned. The people of Hinjili will burn the Prakash Mishra’s book if its sale is not stopped, he added.
