CARTHAGE, MO — Carthage High School hosted their “Armstrong Legacy Tiger Basketball Clinic” for youth kids in remembrance for longtime Boys Basketball Coach Dan Armstrong. Armstrong coached for the Tigers for 17 years from 1983-2000. The camp was put on by the Carthage Boys & Girls Basketball programs, as well as Armstrong’s family. We caught up with one his daughters Alice and Girls Head Coach Scott Moore about today’s camp. Alice (Armstrong) Habel said, “It’s just an opportunity for us to give back to a community that sort of raised us.
