Match Recap: Lakers vs. Kings 125-110

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Sacramento Kings in California.  

For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups. 

The Kings have ruled out Jordan Ford, Colby Jones, Alex Len and Trey Lyles.

    Meanwhile, the Lakers have ruled out Gabe Vincent, Jalen Hood-Schifino and Jarred Vanderbilt.

    The latest Kings win came on Monday night's 132-120 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Guard De'Aaron Fox led the way again with 28 points and six assists and forward Domantas Sabonis pitched in 23 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. The win earned coach Mike Brown his 400th victory in the NBA.

    As for the Lakers, they are 6-5 in their first 11 games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

    They most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 134-107.

    Some of those wins came with the Lakers, the team they'll face Wednesday. This is the second of a home back-to-back following Tuesday night's 134-107 win over Memphis in an In-Season Tournament game.

    They most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 134-107.

     

    D'Angelo Russell had a team-high 24 points and forward Anthony Davis pitched in 19 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks. The Lakers are undefeated at home so far this season.

    James is in his 21st season in the NBA and has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 50.5% from the field and 34.5% from the three-point range

    The pair pleased both fans and bettors in their last contests by winning and covering the spread. Looking ahead, the Kings are expected to win a tight contest, barring any buzzer beaters. This will be Los Angeles' first time playing as the underdogs at home this season.
