ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’re starting off the month of November with unseasonable warmth. Monday reached well into the 60s, and we’re only going up from there. A warm front lifting through Tuesday morning will bring an increase in clouds initially, then more sunshine once the front passes through. There’s the slight chance of a stray shower in the morning, otherwise we stay dry. Temperatures will start near 60 and end in the lower 70s.
Our warmth will peak on Wednesday, with a mostly sunny sky and temperatures in the mid 70s. We’re not forecasting record breaking warmth either day, but both days will be close. The record high for Tuesday’s date is 75° and for Wednesday is 78°. We may come close to at least tying the record one of those days.
Then our pattern begins to change and break down. A large and low moving area of low pressure will move in Wednesday night into Thursday morning, bringing an increasing chance of rain and decreasing temperatures. It’ll be a slow decline, but it’ll start to feel more typical for early November, and even cooler than average by the end of the weekend and maybe early next week.
