No Bears? No problem! I know exactly what we should be watching for during Week 7’s Sunday slate of NFL games.
At 5-2, the Bears are in a position to be buyers at the 2026 NFL Trade Deadline on Nov. 10. With the team having already secured a victory against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football, this opens the door for us to watch some other games. So why not keep tabs on some possible trade fits? We sorted through Daniel Popper’s 2026 NFL Trade Deadline big board at The Athletic and unearthed the players he deemed the best fits for the Bears as trade targets.
2026 NFL Trade Deadline: Potential Bears Targets to Keep an Eye On During Week 7’s Sunday Slate
NFL GAMES ON CBS (NOON)
Colts at Vikings — Colts IDL DeForest Buckner, Colts IDL Grover StewartWe explored Buckner as a trade fit here, so we’ll take this opportunity to talk about his teammate. Stewart, 33, is in the final year of a three-year extension he signed in 2024. He hasn’t missed a game since 2023 and has played in 100 percent of his team’s games in six of the last seven years. It would be nice to add a dependable gamer.
NOTE: This game will air on CBS-2 in Chicago.

Mandatory Credit: Barry Reeger-Imagn Images Browns at Titans — Titans IDL Jeffery Simmons, Titans S Armani HookerThe Bears just got a good look at Hooker and Simmons when they traveled to Nashville for joint practice sessions with the Titans. Perhaps that familiarity will help guide their search for a trade partner who can help upgrade their defensive line. Simmons is signed through 2030, so it might be more expensive to trade for him compared to players with expiring deals. But the juice could be worth the squeeze to reel in an impact defensive lineman whose future contract considerations seem reasonable.
Dolphins at Jets — Jets S Andre Cisco, Dolphins IDL Zach SielerI hadn’t thought about safety as a Bears trade deadline need. But if Coby Bryant doesn’t return this season, I’m open to trading for a player on an expiring deal if Cam Lewis’ play at the position necessitates a trade. As for Sieler, we discussed him as a defensive line trade target in our top eight trade targets to watch post.
NFL GAMES ON FOX (NOON)
Buccaneers at Panthers — Bucs IDL Vita Vea, Bucs EDGE Yaya Diaby, Bucs IDL A’Shawn RobinsonVea was a rumored Bears trade target this summer before signing an extension. As for Diaby, we discuss him as a trade fit here. In hindsight, we should have mentioned Robinson as a possible fit. After all, he is PFF’s No. 2 highest-graded defensive tackle.

Broncos at Cardinals (CBS) — Cardinals EDGE Josh Sweat, Cardinals S Budda BakerIf you’ll recall, the Bears were rumored to be interested in Sweat as a free agent in March 2025. He signed with the Cardinals, but they fired their head coach (Jonathan Gannon) back in February. Since then, trade rumblings about the talented defensive end have been plentiful. So there may be something to watch here. As for Baker, he is the third safety mentioned as a possible fit for the Bears. Maybe we should consider that as a position of need.
I’m genuinely surprised Popper doesn’t have any of the cornerbacks on his big board as possible fits for the Bears. Don’t get me wrong. I like what Malik Muhammad has shown, but it is risky to roll the dice with a rookie fourth-round pick as your best cornerback. Jaylon Johnson hasn’t found his form, and I’m not sure if he will based on how he has played early this season. Tyrique Stevenson just had a nice game on Thursday Night Football, but I’d feel better if he played like that more often.
