The drama, also starring Guitarricadelafuente, Miguel Bernardeau, Carlos González, Milo Quifes, Lola Dueñas and Glenn Close, follows the loves and losses for three gay men in Spain across eras from the 1930s to today. Aaron Douglas, Jean Blackwell Hutson, Nathan Huggins, Richard Bruce Nugent, Eubie Blake and Irwin C. Miller in “Once Upon a Time in Harlem”

Sacrifice

Chris Evans as Mike Tyler in “Sacrifice”

Anya Taylor-Joy plays Joan, a religious terrorist who believes that kidnapping fading movie star Mike Tyler (Chris Evans) is the only way to save the world from Armageddon. With a stacked cast that includes Charli XCX as Mother Nature and the criminally underrated Sam Richardson as Tyler’s agent, this looks absolutely insane in the best possible way.

Street Fighter

Cody Rhodes as Guile and Andrew Koji as Ryu in “Street Fighter”

Paramount Pictures

Shoryuken!

Spring 2026 brought us Mortal Kombat II (an underrated great time), and fall 2026 delivers Street Fighter, adapting the beloved fighting game for a new generation. While we’ll always miss Raul Julia‘s M. Bison from 1994, David Dastmalchian delivers a punch in his stead, and the rest of the casting is pretty on point: Jason Momoa as Blanka (seriously, the only other suitable option may have been Jason Mantzoukas), Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Callina Liang as the Strongest Woman in the World Chun-Li (my queen), 50 Cent as a truly uncanny Balrog and more.

Will the 2026 Street Fighter movie be good for cinephiles? Honestly, who cares? We’re here for hadoukens and classic Capcom camp, and if the trailer alone is any indication, this film is serving.

The film sees a lonely Olivia Colman beg a basket weaver (Peter Dinklage) to make her a man, and he makes her a sentient Alexander Skarsgård basket-man. There’s a lot to unpack here, some of which may be best done with your diary or your therapist, but you best believe we’ll be watching anyway.
