September 20th – September 25th (pool swimming) Prelims at 10am local (9pm previous night ET)/Finals at 5pm local (4am ET) Tokyo Aquatics Centre LCM (50m) Meet Central Entries Prelims Recaps: Day 1 Finals Recaps: Day 1 Live ResultsDay two finals of the 2026 Asian Games is about to unfold, with the nation of China leading the overall swimming medal table early on by claiming nearly every gold on the first night of competition here in Tokyo.
This evening, however, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and other nations will do their best to hold off the reigning team champions, with the agenda including the men’s and women’s 50m backstroke, men’s 50m free, women’s 200m free, men’s 100m breast, women’s 200m IM and men’s 4x200m free relay.
That means we’ll be seeing the likes of World Junior Record holder Shin Ohashi of Japan in the water, along with World Championships medalist teammate Mio Narita in the women’s 200m IM.
Korea will try to get their hands on some hardware, with Ji Yu-chan ready to defend his 50m freestyle title from three years ago.
