Supported by the late knock, the team secured 251 runs despite a shaky middle-order. As domestic cricket is believed to be a step to earn a national team call-up, the splendid batting of Anshul Kamboj could make his case strong for a Test comeback for the India National Cricket Team. He is yet to show his bowling class in the match.
Kamboj stitched two crucial partnerships in the later portion of the innings. With Abid Mushtaq, the lower-order batter got a 48-run partnership from 59 balls, and for the tenth-wicket stand, Anshul Kamboj found a 31-run partnership with the No.11 batter of the line-up.
