2026 U.S. Masters Summer National Championships
Aug. 5-9, 2026 Sacramento, California LCM (50 meters) Meet CentralThe last day of the U.S. Masters Summer National Championships was a one for the books, with 16 new records being set on the fifth and final day of competition at the North Natomas Aquatic Complex.
Two of the records were set in the women’s 75-79 age group by Laura Val, who established new AQUA Masters and USMS records in both the 200 back (2:54.21) and the 50 fly (36.41).

In the women’s 18-24 age group, Ashley Daly Morgan set a new USMS record in the 50 fly, clocking a time of 27.14. Also in the women’s 18-24 age group, Lillie Nordmann set a new USMS record in the 50 butterfly, finishing with a time of 27.14. Maureen Phillips, who competed in the 50-54 age group, set a new USMS record in the 50 fly with a time of 29.12. Veronica Hibben established new AQUA Masters world and USMS records in the 50 fly for the 50-54 women’s age group, touching the wall in a time of 33.59. In the men’s 60-64 age group, Marc La Palme clocked a time of 36.41 in the 50 fly to set a new AQUA Masters world record. Andre Steynberg, who competed in the men’s 70-74 age group, set new AQUA Masters world and USMS records in the 50 fly with a time of 30.90. Marc Middleton set new AQUA Masters world and USMS records in the 50 fly for the men’s 75-79 age group, coming in with a time of 30.90. The Olympic Club set four new relay records. In the women’s 100-119 age group, it set a AQUA Masters world record in the 200 free relay, clocking a time of 1:47.91. In the men’s 100-119 age group, It set clocked a 200 free relay time of 1:31.22 to set new AQUA Masters world and USMS records. In the 72-99 mixed age group, Olympic established a new 200 medley relay record with a time of 1:55.16. Finally, Olympic in the mixed 120-159 age group set new AQUA Masters and USMS records in the 200 medley relay, coming in with a time of 1:48.37. Rocky Mountain Regional Masters claimed new AQUA Masters world and USMS records in the women’s 240-279 age group, finishing with a time of 1:58.70 in the 200 free relay. In the men’s 72-99 age group, Club Hot Tub set a new USMS record in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:34.27.
