Grant Park is about to be flooded with fans for Lollapalooza 2026, which began Thursday and will bring highly anticipated performances across eight different stages.
For everyone deciding what they will need to pack for the festival, here are some guidelines to keep in mind, according to the festival’s Allowed and Prohibited Items page.
Bag policy
For attendees traveling with a bag, they should be smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
If a bag is larger than 6″ x 9″, it is required to be a clear bag. Those smaller than that are not required to be clear and must only have one pocket.
For those traveling with hydration packs, they also do not need to be clear, but need to be empty. Only hydration packs with two total pockets are permitted.
All bags will be searched before entering the festival grounds.
