PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Max Gordon officially launched his campaign for Pittsford town supervisor on Saturday.
A few issues Gordon is focusing on in his campaign are affordability, strengthening the local economy and supporting public schools. He was joined by Congressman Joe Morelle and County Executive Adam Bello who gave remarks.
Gordon, a lifelong Pittsford resident, then spoke at the podium.
“This campaign is the opportunity to give something back, especially to the town that gave me so much. I hope to earn your trust, your support, and the opportunity to serve this town that means so much to me and my family. I believe this town’s best chapters are still ahead, and I would be honored to write them together,” Gordon said.
Gordon is challenging incumbent Pittsford Town Supervisor Bill Smith. Smith won reelection in a tight race last November and has served as the supervisor since 2014.
