In a recent interview with CineDump, Konefal reflected on her experience in film and compared it to her time on the long-running Peacock soap opera.
Konefal also highlighted the difference in daily output. “On average, on a movie you film between 7 to 11 pages a day,” she shared. “If it's a 12-page day, you did a really good job.”
She explained that soap actors must come to set fully prepared. “There's not much room for error on a soap,” she said. In comparison, film allows for more flexibility. “With a movie, we really get to take our time, do as many takes as necessary for the right take. It's also a lot more technical in terms of direction and shots and camera work.”
