ROCHECSTER, N.Y. – The battle between winter and spring continues across Western New York. This Saturday the temperature never got out of the 30s and with snow flurries it certainly looked and felt like a winter day. However, as a high-pressure system slowly moves east of Rochester, the wind direction will shift to a more southwestery direction. This will bring a moderation to the chilly temperatures and spring-like weather will make a return over the next several days.
Tonight, will be another cold evening as the temperature falls into the upper 20s. Any lingering snow flurries will come to an end. Sunday appears to be a mainly dry day. Skies may brighten from time to time, but overall, the cloud cover will dominate much of the day. The afternoon temperature should rise into the lower 50s.
Monday and Tuesday the warming trend will continue with temperature reaching into the 60s. Unfortunately , the chance of rain will be on the increase by Monday night and Tuesday.
