2026 Pro Swim Series
Austin, Texas: January 14-17 Event Page Final Prize Money Totals Westmont, Illinois: March 4-7 Event Page Final Prize Money TotalsWith two stops of the 2026 Pro Swim Series done, SwimSwam is looking at the overall prize money totals, and how much swimmers have earned over both stops combined. Regan Smith and Summer McIntosh are tied at the top with $11,000 each, though they both got to these numbers in different ways.
This year, USA Swimming introduced a revamped Pro Series schedule that features double prize money for event winners in select events at each stop. These events consist of a prelims/semifinals/finals at their selected stop and the winner of the event receives $3,000 instead of the typical $1,500 for 1st place. The 2nd and 3rd place prizes remain the same at $1,000 and $500 respectively. So far, $235,000 has been awarded during the stops with $117,500 going to each gender.
Smith was the top earner in Austin, racking up $7,500 during the meet for three regular event wins (100 back, 100 fly, 200 fly) and one $3,000 event win (50 back). In Westmont, Smith swam a few off events, and won $3,500 for wins in the 400 IM and 200 back, and a 3rd place finish in the 200 free.
McIntosh collected $5,500 from both meets, swimming a few off events in Austin, earning prize money for finishing 1st in the 400 IM and 2nd in the 100 fly, and picking up “double money” for her win in the 200 IM. In Westmont, she won three golds in the 200 free, 200 fly, and 200 IM, and finished 2nd in the 800 free.
On the men’s side, Leon Marchand has earned $10,000 after picking up $7,000 in Austin and $3,000 in Westmont. He also won the 200 IM “double money” prize in Austin. Chris Guiliano sits in 2nd on the men’s side with $7,500 after he earned $6,000 in Westmont and $1,500 in Austin.
