We are officially done with the first day of individual events for week two of the 2026 Division I conference season, and 14 swimmers were added to the NCAA Championships tonight.
Week Two features three of the power-four conference meets, which means a number of new athletes will be added to the Division I NCAA Championships in March via the new “win-and-you’re-in” model.
Generally conference winners from power-four schools would qualify for the conference championships regardless of the new policy, but we are including them in our tracking for the numbers.

The women’s only meet had three events tonight, starting with the women’s 500 freestyle. UNLV junior Ava Olson won the women’s 500 freestyle in 4:43.08, which was a personal best time by almost two seconds. She dropped from the 4:44.88 mark she set in December to come in more than six tenths under the qualifying time of 4:43.70.
In the 50 freestyle, Washington State’s Darcy Revitt swam 21.84 to add a hundredth from her prelims swim and lifetime best of 21.83. Revitt qualified for the meet last year as well, ultimately finishing 17th in the event (21.90).
Every event winner from the ACC and SEC Championships was well under the NCAA qualifying standard and the 2025 Invite Time, and seven swimmers of each gender (four from the SEC and three from the ACC) earned automatic qualifications tonight, bumping the overall totals to 14 women and 11 men.
As a reminder. We are only listing swimmers one time. There were a few athletes at the Big West Championships who earned multiple conference titles in NCAA qualifying times, but they are only listed under the first event they qualified in.
