It’s a busy NBA trade deadline, and Sexton is involved in the moves being made. According to ESPN insider Shams Charania is going to the Chicago Bulls along with Ousmane Dieng in exchange for Coby White and Mike Conley Jr. The Hornets are also giving the Bulls 3 second-round picks in the deal.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Sexton No. 8 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft. Sexton spent his first 4 professional seasons with the Cavaliers. He saw the most playing time in his rookie season, appearing in all 82 regular-season game with 72 starts. In the 2020-21 season, Sexton averaged a career-high 24.3 points per game.
Utah acquired Sexton via a sign-and-trade deal in September 2022. In his first season with the Jazz, Sexton shot a career-best 50.6% from the field over 48 appearances (15 starts). This past season, Sexton posted his best 3-point shooting percentage, a 40.6% mark from beyond the arc in 63 games (61 starts).
Charlotte acquired Sexton in June. With the Hornets, Sexton appeared in 42 games. He averaged 14.2 points per game over 22.3 minutes, shooting 48.8% from the field and 39.3% from 3-point range.
