Chicago police were investigating after a man was fatally shot inside a home in the Garfield Park neighborhood, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at approximately 10:19 a.m. along West Warren Boulevard near North Albany Avenue. According to police, a 37-year-old man was inside a home when he was approached by a suspect who opened fire.
The victim was shot three times and taken to an area hospital, where he died, authorities said.
No one had been arrested as of Sunday night.
Area Three detectives were investigating.
