Wyoming High School Athletic Association Girls 4A State Championships

Nov. 6-7, 2025 Laramie, Wyoming SCY Results

It was a celebration never seen before for Jackson Hole High School. For the first time in school history, Jackson Hole captured a state championship in girls swimming, topping the field at the Wyoming High School Athletic Association 4A state championship meet.

Jackson Hole beat out runner-up Central for the title in what is the larger of the two swimming classifications in Wyoming.

“We’ve known the whole year we were going to have a lot of high-end talent, getting first, second, third in the state,” Jackson Hole head coach Jim Jenkins said, according to the Jackson Hole News & Guide. “But we couldn’t have done it without the people that got fifth and sixth and eighth and 10th and 12th place. Every single point mattered. This was truly a team effort.”

Jackson Hole had a pair of multiple-event winners in seniors Amaya Olivieri and Maren Tattersall.

Olivieri won the 100 free in 52.38 and the 100 back in 58.39, while Tattersall captured the 200 free in 1:57.20 and the 500 free in 5:17.56.

The two teamed with Anna Baxter and Indi Oliveri to win the 200 medley relay in 1:47.45 and also the 400 medley relay in 3:34.31.

The other multiple individual event winner was Green River senior Tavia Arnell, who was first in the 200 IM (2:06.31) and the 100 fly (55.68).

Arnell also swam anchor for Green River’s winning 200 free relay team, which took the top spot in a time of 1:40.37. Other team members were Alayna Kellhofer, Kaylin Uhrig and Zoie Gilmore.

The other individual event winners were Sheridan sophomore Nzelle Ayokosok in the 50 free (personal best 25.20), Central junior Ella Reed in 1-meter diving (441.70) and Baxter in the 100 breast (personal best 1:05.37).

Ultimately, though, the meet was all about the history made by Jackson Hole.

“This group is a special group,” Jenkins said to the Jackson Hole News & Guide. “I don’t think in my entire career I’ve ever pushed a group as hard as I pushed this group. And they responded, and they never backed down. They never took their foot off the gas the whole season.”
