EMMERDALE star Max Parker has bagged himself a brand new role in a new Netflix series.
The 33 year-old will strip off in the show months after marrying his soap co-star who was his onscreen brother.

He has since earned acting credits on the latest season of BBC’s Doctor Who and went on to land a role in Peacock’s Vampire Academy and Netflix’s Blood, Sex and Royalty.
Now the soap star will make another appearance on Netflix starring in the brand new drama comedy series Boots.
Set in the 90s, the show will follow bullied teen Cameron and his best friend as they embark on a life-changing journey through the US marines.
Max is set to play the ‘intimidating’ Drill Sergeant Sullivan alongside 13 Reasons Why actor Miles Heizer.
Speaking to Attitude Magazine about Max, Miles said: “He’s so different than in real life.
“It’s incredible. He’s so intense and intimidating. I was so impressed because, again, our connection is so different in real life.”
In the trailer for the new series fans Max can be seen taking on the character of Sullivan giving out orders and laying down the law to the recruits.
In another scene Max strips off showing him topless suggesting that the actor will have some steamy scenes coming up in the show.
The series will explore themes of homophobia and how closeted teen Cameron copes in a harsh military environment.
It’s set to air on the streaming site on October 9.
Max’s new role comes after his marriage this year to Emmerdale co-star Kris Mochrie, 40.
The pair first met in 2019 on the soap where they played brothers, Kris taking on the role of Lee Posner.
And after developing a relationship off-screen the pair got engaged in 2022.
This August, the couple tied the knot back in a lavish multi-day wedding.
They splashed out six figures for the incredible wedding at the exclusive Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk.
Max and Kris celebrated with their closest acquaintances including Code of Silence star Kieron Moore and Love Island’s Callum Jones.
A source at the time revealed: “There really has been no expense spared for Max and Kris.
“Every detail has been taken care of with only the most stylish and chic things for their big day.
“It’s something for their friends and family to remember forever.
