It lets Turner & Townsend move into Egypt’s growing quantity surveying, commercial advisory, real estate and infrastructure sectors.
VMC is active in the Greater Cairo, the north coast, the Nile Delta and Red Sea regions, specialising in property development and infrastructure.
Its staff will join Turner & Townsend’s team of around 1,000 people across the Middle East.
VMC chief executive Ayman El-Ghazzawi will become country manager for Turner & Townsend Egypt, reporting to Alan Talabani, Middle East managing director.
“As investment continues to accelerate across key real estate sectors in the Middle East, this allows us to strengthen our presence in North Africa and enhance the support we provide our clients across the region,” Talabani said.
