The legend of Luke Littler continues to grow.
Littler has won the World Matchplay for the first time in his career thanks to a 18-13 win over James Wade in the final.
Littler simply cannot stop picking up trophiesGettyHaving already collected the World Championship and the Premier League, Littler’s triumph at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool meant he has now won the Triple Crown in darts.
And he is the youngest player in history to achieve the feat.
Littler is the fifth person to have achieved the remarkable feat alongside Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries.
That’s not the only achievement brought on by Littler ousting Wade.
By beating ‘The Machine’, Littler has now become the youngest World Matchplay winner at 18 years, six months and six days.
