OAKLAND — Less than two years after his child pornography conviction, a Pittsburg man has picked up a new federal case, this time in federal court.

In the 2023 case, Nunez Hernandez, Pleasant Hill police found Nunez Hernandez asleep in his car, with a gun on the floor and a phone containing child sexual abuse material in his possession, while a female companion shoplifted from a nearby Kohl’s, court records show.
