I Tried Boarderie’s Halloween Dessert Board

The first thing that struck me wasn’t the taste. It was just how impressive this thing looks when you open it.
The board arrives cold and completely assembled, and despite making the trip to my front door, everything looked remarkably close to the professionally styled photos online. But with nearly 50 treats staring back at me, admiring it only lasted so long.
The macarons were one of the first things I reached for, and they were exactly what you want from a good macaron: perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining familiarly gooey inside. The seasonal flavors make them feel right at home on the board without venturing into pumpkin-spice-overload territory.
