One of television’s most iconic soap operas is finding a new life, but this time with a bit of a vertical twist.
Vertical giant RoseBerry is teaming up with production company Fremantle to bring classic storylines from Neighbours’ history to a modern audience on its epis platform.
Speaking of taking the soap opera to the vertical platform, Guy Hameiri, Co-Founder and CEO of RoseBerry Media, shared, “Neighboursis an iconic piece of television history, and exactly the kind of premium entertainment IP we believe can thrive in the vertical format. This is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to applyRedSnapperto a long-running soap with such a rich library of characters, storylines, and cultural moments, and Fremantle has been a fantastic partner in bringing that vision to life.
RedSnapper is RoseBerry’s AI-assisted production workflow that will assist with the editing workflow by helping navigate which parts of the episodes include which storylines.
Hameiri continued to explain how utilizing iconic properties such as Neighbours opens a world of possibilities, sharing, “We believe premium vertical television will become a significant new entertainment category, and partnerships like this demonstrate how iconic IP can find new audiences, new relevance and new value in that future ecosystem.”

Neighbours originally aired for a single year in 1985 on Channel 7 in Australia before the series was canceled. The following year, Neighbours returned to Channel 10, where it continued until 2010, when the series moved to its digital sibling, Channel 11, until its cancellation in 2022.
The series was revived for streaming on Amazon’s Freevee platform, where it ran from 2023 until its cancellation in 2025.
Combined the series ran for a total of 9,363 episodes.
Fans are hopeful that this vertical launch will continue to inspire new viewers to check out the beloved series and encourage production to return with brand-new episodes of Neighboursin the future.
It is currently unknown what storylines will be adapted for epis, but fans can look forward to the content coming soon.
