British MMA icon Michael Bisping wants Jon Jones and Conor McGregor to feature on the anticipated UFC White House card.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced last week that he intends to bring the promotion to the gardens of the White House next year for the 250th anniversary of America.
Bisping wants McGregor to fight Chandler at the UFC White House eventGETTYTrump has close ties with UFC CEO Dana White, who gave a speech at his inauguration earlier this year.
White has since revealed he is on board with Trump’s proposal, and it has got the entire MMA world talking during the UFC’s busy summer schedule.
So much so that Jones and McGregor have both declared their interest in fighting on what would be a truly spectacular card.
“Fighting at the White House? (eyes emoji)” Jones wrote on X Friday before revealing that he had re-entered the UFC’s testing pool to compete again, less than two weeks after announcing his retirement from the sport.
McGregor also took to the platform to share a screenshot of a conversation with White, who asserted he loved the idea of the Irishman competing at the White House.
McGregor hasn’t competed since a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier in 2021, but Bisping believes he wouldn’t be able to resist taking part in ‘this legendary event.’
“Conor McGregor‘s no stranger to the White House,” he said on his YouTube channel when revealing his entire UFC White House fight card.
“He’s already been out there. He said he’s going to run to be the president of Ireland.
“He spoke to the world’s media at the White House, so he’s very familiar with this place.
“And of course, he would love to insert himself into this legendary, historic event…taking on Michael Chandler, who was just destroyed by Paddy Pimblett.”

Bisping selected the fight as his ideal co-main event for the White House card, with Jones fighting in the main event against Tom Aspinall, who was promoted to undisputed heavyweight champion after ‘Bones’ retired.
“If there’s one fight and one location that Jon Jones would come out of retirement for,” Bisping explained.
“We just might get to see the greatest heavyweight fight of all time…if Tom just scrapes by Ciryl Gane.
“I think Jones would come out of retirement, and that would be the main event at the White House.
“Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall. England vs. U.S.A. all over again.”

Jones retired from MMA before accepting a fight with new heavyweight champion AspinallAspinall is likely to make his first defence of the UFC heavyweight strap against Gane, who lost a title bout to Jones in March 2023.
Bisping concluded by adding Valentina Shevchenko vs Erin Blanchfield for the women’s flyweight title to the White House card.
He also selected Israel Adesanya vs Sean Strickland 2, Justin Gaethje vs ‘whoever the hell he wants,’ and Sean O’Malley vs Cory Sandhagen to feature in the iconic event.
“We’ve got to have Justin Gaethje on there,” he said.
“Justin Gaethje vs. anybody at the White House. He ain’t gonna retire if that’s what’s offered to him.
“So, Justin Gaethje opens up the main card against whoever the hell he wants.”
Bisping also wants to see No.4 ranked lightweight Gaethje fight on the cardGettySpeaking on O’Malley, Bisping added: “Sean O’Malley, he could be on there, maybe vs. Cory Sandhagen.
“That could be the first fight of the night on the main card of the pay-per-view.
“Sean O’Malley taking on Cory Sandhagen – an all-American affair – the Civil War.”
