If that is how the cookie crumbles, I would expect a fair amount of help from tight ends and running backs off the edges. Perhaps some more jumbo packages will be part of the mix for Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson.

The good news here is that rookie Luke Newman has been activated from injured reserve. Newman missed four games with a foot injury before returning to practice this week. The Michigan State product’s recturn could help augment the potential loss of Darnell Wright. Also joining the Bears after being flexed from the practice squad are cornerback Dallis Flowers and undrafted rookie receiver JP Richardson. It feeels worth noting that Nahshon Wright (hamstring, illness) didn’t practice on Friday. So perhaps having some extra secondary help is what the Bears have in mind with this elevation.
