Day 1 of the 42nd annual Greeley Tribune Home and Garden show will run from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the Island Grove Event Center, 421 N. 15th Ave., Greeley.
The weekend-long event will be free for the public to attend, including free parking.
More than 150 exhibitors will display products and services geared toward first-time homeowners, average do-it-yourselfers, construction pros, remodelers and everyone else with home and garden projects.
“We have more than a dozen new exhibitors this year, alongside returning favorites like Aqua Spas, McCreery & Sun, J & T Feeds, Lifetime Seeds and CSU Master Gardeners,” Greeley Tribune publisher Jill Stravolemos said in a news release. “Attendees can browse for new home decor or gifts at a variety of vendor booths along Artisan Row. There also will be plenty of prepared and packaged food to keep you fueled while you shop to your heart’s content.”
The show continues through the weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Stravolemos said the show is a great opportunity for the community to speak with experts and vendors in the fields of home remodeling and outdoor living.
Along with show specials, the event will host a “Find the Gnome” game in which participants 18 and older can enter to win a $500 Visa gift card. Three gnomes will be hidden at various vendor booths throughout the event. Upon finding a gnome, participants will be able to scan a QR code to submit their name and email to be entered.
Participants can submit each gnome once per day throughout the show. The Greeley Tribune welcome table will also host a bonus entry for participants.
