LAS Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby posted a puzzling message on social media – and fans think it means he’s set to leave the team for a rival squad.
The Pro Bowl defensive end Crosby has been the subject of trade rumors after the Raiders’ disappointing 4-13 campaign.

The 27-year-old made sure to share that he had a splendid time in the Bay Area.
“Spent 48 Hours In The Bay This Weekend,” Crosby wrote on X. Easily One Of The Best Experiences I’ve Had So Far As A Professional.
“The Amount Of Love Yall Showed For This 4th Rounder From Eastern Michigan Was Humbling.
“I Was Just A Young Kid Chasing My Dreams & Trying To Figure It Out When I First Touched Down In Cali As A Rookie.
“Going From Oaktown To Alameda & The City & Being With The People Was Truly Was Iconic & Means More To Me Than Anything.”
Crosby continued to share his love for San Francisco, that he loves the people he met during his two-day stay, and that he’ll be back in the city once again.
Social media users, however, believe that Crosby’s post hints that he’ll not only be back in San Francisco but that he’ll also be repping the 49ers.
“Niners bound LFG,” one commented.
“The Bay? I know a team that plays there,” another wrote.
“It’s time bro come to the 49ers,” a third added.
Earlier this month, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported that Crosby’s future is “up in the air.”
Crosby, who will turn 28 in August, is under contract through the 2026 season after penning a four-year, $94 million extension in 2022.
During Super Bowl week in New Orleans, he appeared on Pro Football Talk and shared that his desire to win a title is the biggest motivator for him at this point in his career.
Crosby also opened up on some of the frustration he dealt with during the Raiders’ struggles in 2024.
“I’ve had doubts in the past. I feel like this past year was the hardest part of my career,” he said.
“Battling through injury the whole year, struggling, losing 10 games in a row. Up here, it makes you start questioning a lot of things.”
Crosby did quiet some trade speculation by admitting that the arrival of head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek as well as Tom Brady’s presence in ownership has made him “the most optimistic I’ve been” since he joined the franchise in 2019.
Nonetheless, teams will inquire about Crosby’s services, whether the Raiders listen to trade offers or not.
However, if the Raiders do trade Crosby, you won’t be seeing him land on a loaded roster, especially a team like the Kansas City Chiefs, who have won two Super Bowls in the last three campaigns.
“I don’t want to join the damn Chiefs and get a Super Bowl,’ Crosby said.
“That would mean nothing to me. I want to be a part of winning.
Crosby has made the Pro Bowl four times and has posted 59.5 sacks in 95 career regular-season games.
However, he is coming off a season in which he was limited to 12 games due to an ankle injury that required surgery.
Still, Crosby was able to record 45 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and 17 tackles for loss.
