The Ukiah Valley Fire Authority responded to a commercial structure fire on Christy Lane Tuesday night, Battalion Chief Eric Singleton reported. Singleton said that crews were dispatched to the 3700 block of Christy Lane around 11:45 p.m. Dec. 3 and found a “working fire inside a mid-sized commercial structure.” As crews worked to knock down the fire, which Singleton said was creating a lot of smoke and flames in the loft area of the building, personnel from both Cal Fire and the Redwood Valley-Calpella Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist.
