Bhubaneswar: The Congress on Saturday demanded immediate arrest of Odisha Governor Raghubar Das’s son Lalit Kumar for allegedly beating up the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) of the Raj Bhawan. Strongly condemning the incident, senior Congress leader and MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati said that the police should immediately arrest the Governor’s son and his associates. He said that a case should be filed under Section 307 of IPC for threatening to kill a government employee. The Congress leader further said that the Governor was a former BJP Chief Minister.
