The 2024 Canada West Golf Championships are looping back to Kelowna, hosted by UBC Okanagan (UBCO) Heat golf teams. The event is October 7 to 8 at the Okanagan Golf Club, The Bear & The Quail, with a practice round on Oct. 6. “We were honoured to host the inaugural championship five years ago and we are excited to host a great event once again with our partners at the Okanagan Golf Club,” said Tom Huisman, UBCO director of athletics and recreation. The Heat women’s program will defend back-to-back silver medals, finishing behind the UBC Thunderbirds in the last two conference championships.
