Hila Klein has accused her husband, Ethan Klein, of having an affair that lasted more than six months.
In a statement posted to Instagram on Friday, October 23, Hila claimed Ethan had admitted to the alleged affair. The couple cohost the H3 Podcast and run the h3h3Productions YouTube channel together.
“The betrayal I feel is immeasurable,” she wrote. “The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business.”
The H3 Podcast announced an indefinite hiatus shortly before Hila shared her statement. The news appeared on the h3h3productions Instagram Stories on October 22, just hours earlier.
In her post, Hila said she had suspected something was wrong, but struggled to get answers from her husband. “I could sense something was wrong,” she wrote. “I tried to ask him questions and share my concerns and hurt feelings. But I was met with dismissive answers and no action. Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it.”

Hila claimed Ethan eventually confessed to the months-long affair. However, she said she still doesn’t know the full story. “I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak,” she wrote. “All I can do right now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time.”
Ethan did not immediately respond to Parade’s request for a statement.
Members of the H3 Podcast crew also shared a message on Instagram, expressing their support for Hila and saying they would not work on the show under its current production arrangement with Ethan.
“We are all shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair,” the statement read. “We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way. We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.”
The pair met in 2007 while Ethan was on a Birthright Israel trip and Hila was in the Israel Defense Forces. They began making videos together on YouTube in 2011 and got married a year later.
Ethan and Hila have three sons, Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2.
