WWE WrestleMania 40: predictions and full lineup

Sport by : (PRESSBEE) -

WWE Wrestlemania is the biggest event in professional wrestling, and fans around the world eagerly anticipate each year's lineup and predictions. As we approach Wrestlemania 40, speculation is running rampant about what matches will be featured on the card.

One highly anticipated matchup is rumored to be a showdown between current Universal Champion Roman Reigns and former champion Brock Lesnar. The two powerhouse wrestlers have a long-standing rivalry that could culminate in an epic battle at Wrestlemania.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will wrestle in his first real match in 11 years on Saturday night and Roman Reigns will put his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt on the line against Cody Rhodes on Sunday night.

WrestleMania was last in Philly, losing to Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWE Championship in March 1999 at the then-First Union Center.

WWE announced its full card and schedule for 'Mania during this past week's Monday Night Raw. Of course, surprise appearances are unaccounted for.

Now Rhodes has another chance to vanquish Reigns—but there’s one more hurdle in the way. Rhodes and Reigns will square off in the main event of the second night of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia on Sunday. But first, they’ll meet in a tag team match on Saturday. Rhodes will team with Rollins and Reigns will team with The Rock. If Rhodes’s team wins on Saturday, all members of Reigns’s Bloodline faction will be banned from ringside on Sunday. If Reigns’s team wins, Sunday’s match will be contested under “Bloodline rules” (meaning there are no rules).

WWE WrestleMania 40 is all set to get started tonight (Sat., April 6, 2024) from Lincoln Financial Field at 7:00 pm ET, live on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network elsewhere. You should also be able to watch this on pay-per-view (PPV) if your cable provider is carrying the event.

Rollins is protected and can argue that win, thanks to the McIntyre interference, and Reigns gets a win on a weekend that may not end with him standing tall to close out a show.
