Israel's police arrested Palestinian writer and political commentator Rasem Obaidat, 65, from his home in Jabal al-Mukaber, occupied East Jerusalem, on Tuesday, 12 December.  Obaidat is a regular contributor to the widely circulated Al-Quds daily newspaper.
