Qatar has participated in the 23rd meeting of the Joint Co-ordination and Monitoring Board between the government of Afghanistan and its international partners. The meeting took place via video conference, in the presence of President of Afghanistan Dr Mohamed Ashraf Ghani and a number of ranking officials. Qatar was represented in the meeting by acting charges d'affaires in Qatar's embassy in Afghanistan Abdullah Nasser al-Shahwani.
