Bill Belichick snapped back at a reporter when he was asked about his split from Jordon Hudson.

The former New England Patriots coach, 74, and Hudson, 25, reportedly split last year. But when Belichick spoke to reporters during a Tar Heels press conference on Monday, Nov. 2, he wasn’t so fond of fielding questions about the breakup between him and Hudson.

PEOPLE is reporting that Brian Murphy of WRAL asked Belichick if he had “any comment” on the reports and what the split “might mean” for the football program moving forward. In response, Belichick replied, “Do you work for a tabloid now?” After a brief pause, he continued, adding, “I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you.”

Hudson is Still a Presence on the Sidelines

While reports say the duo has been done for a while, Hudson is still a frequent face on the sidelines around the North Carolina football program this season. WRAL reported that Hudson has been spotted with Belichick at various events in the area. She was even on the sidelines during UNC’s Sept. 12 win against East Tennessee State University, where her interaction with another WRAL reporter went viral.

They went on to say that Hudson attended Belichick’s post-game press conference on Oct. 3 after a loss to Notre Dame, and attended Belichick’s celebration after North Carolina defeated rival Duke on Oct. 17.

However, the interview pivoted when Hudson, who was sitting off to the side, jumped in, making it clear that she wasn’t comfortable with Belichick discussing her.
