General Hospital’s newest star, Wil Traval, has opened up about playing the newest member of the well-established Jacks family.

In the October 29, 2026 episode of General Hospital, Jude (Traval) revealed that he is the son of Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché). Ahead of his debut airing, Traval was interviewed by TV Insider’s Stephanie Sloane, about joining the program and what that experience means to him.

Traval shared that he doesn’t know how “far the apple fell from the tree when it comes to Jerry Jacks and Jude Jacks, so when you’re thinking about who his father is, think about the kind of man Jude might have been brought up to be. Always keep that in your back pocket.”
Under Roché’s tenure, Jerry was one of the most complex villains on the series. Coming in under the persona of mercenary James Craig. Jerry proceeded to hold the residents of Port Charles hostage, poison the water supply, cause various explosions and shoot multiple inhabitants of the town.
Jerry was last seen on December 22, 2015, following various on-and-off stints since his arrival in 1998.
