Four people were taken to area hospitals after a van crashed into a building on Chicago’s West Side Saturday afternoon.
Citizen App video showed the van crashed into a building at 502 South Cicero on Saturday afternoon, with the façade of the building collapsing onto the street below.
According to Chicago fire officials, the crash occurred just after 2 p.m. Saturday on the border of the South Austin and West Garfield Park neighborhoods.
Fire officials say there were four individuals taken to area hospitals for treatment, including one child.
Exact ages of the individuals injured in the crash were not immediately known. All four individuals were listed in yellow (fair-to-serious) condition, according to officials.
