Police in west suburban Aurora asked drivers to avoid part of the area and warned of traffic delays after a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:05 p.m., police said a crash near South Orchard Road and Prairie Street was causing traffic delays as emergency crews worked at the scene.
“Traffic in the area will be delayed while emergency crews work to clear the scene. We are asking the public to seek alternative routes until the roadway is clear,” police said in a social media post.
No additional information was immediately available.
