Fall 2026 will see the arrival of Berkley XO, a new crossover imprint from Penguin Random House’s Berkley. That’s not the only new imprint coming from the world of PRH. There’s another new adult crossover imprint on the way, and it’s going to be perfect for romance and fantasy fans. It’s all about DUSK, and this is for readers in the UK and Europe.
The target audience for DUSK is those moving between young adult, new adult, and adult fiction. Romance is at the heart of it all, and that can mean cozy romance, sports romance, and romantasy. In fact, there are already some novels in the works, set to be released in the fall, according to The Bookseller.
Those looking forward to the U.S. imprint Berkley XO will recognize one of the titles. Charlotte B. Plumb’s Reap & Sow will be part of the new British venture, and it makes sense. Plumb is a British author, and while it’s exciting that she’s working with the new U.S. imprint, she’s a great voice to market the new UK one.
Courtesy of Berkley XOThe Ascended by Bree Grenwich and Parker Lennox will also be the first release in the fall. Their conclusion to the Espirithean trilogy, Realmblade, will be published in 2027 under the DUSK imprint.
Also in 2027, Teammates to Lovers by Jenny Linsky, We Go Together by Edward Schmit, and Not Another Vampire Romance by B Celeste will also be published.
Publisher Carmen McCullough will lead the charge on the imprint, along with editorical director Amina Parchment-Youssef. McCullough shared that this is a way to reach readers who don’t see themselves in the more traditional spaces. They don’t stick to one genre, and they want to be able to easily move between different stages of life to focus on how love stories grow.
She shared, ““We’re incredibly excited to expand into the new adult crossover space in a bigger, bolder way; building a dedicated home that speaks to today’s readers on their own terms.”
The imprint will have its own dedicated Instagram channel, and there will be launch events throughout the UK and mainland Europe. This is similar to the way the Berkley XO imprint pushed its marketing in the United States, quickly gaining interest and attraction.
