Chicago police are searching for a suspect who shoved an elderly woman off a CTA bus earlier this summer in the Hyde Park neighborhood, severely injuring her face.
According to authorities, the attack occurred on a CTA bus in the 5500 block of South Hyde Park Boulevard on July 28 at approximately 3:51 p.m.
Police say a man walked up behind a woman who was standing on the bus, and he shoved her through the door and onto the sidewalk.
The woman suffered severe injuries to her face and hands, and the suspect fled the scene according to police.
