First things first, it should be noted that if you were already subscribed to Xbox Game Pass before the changes were brought in, you will not be affected by these limits if you are on an auto-recurring plan.
The cloud gaming limits are only in effect for new Game Pass subscribers, though this will include anyone who unsubscribes and resubscribes at a later date.
But if you are a new Game Pass subscriber, here's how many hours of cloud gaming you get per month depending on your tier:
Game Pass Ultimate – 15 hoursGame Pass Premium – 10 hoursGame Pass Essential – 5 hoursPC Game Pass subscriptions do not include cloud gaming at all, if you were wondering why it's missing from the list above.
At the time of writing, it appears that these limits have only gone into effect in certain countries, with customers in Australia, Brazil, Germany and Poland all confirming on Reddit that they have received correspondence from Xbox regarding the change.
Players in the UK, US and Canada, meanwhile, are yet to receive news of the change.
