DARIEN, N.Y. — An 11-year-old boy has died after a go-kart rolled over into a pond in Darien on Sunday, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says.
Deputies say two children were riding in the go-kart when it crashed around 2:30 p.m. A Mercy Flight took the boy, who was the driver, to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. The 8-year-old girl in the go-kart was treated at the scene by medical crews.
