ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Five people are without a home after a house on Glendale Park on the city’s northwest side went up in flames on Monday.
News10NBC’s photojournalist saw crews battling flames coming from the side of the house just after midnight. The Rochester Fire Department assistant chief said heavy flames spread from the first floor to the second floor.
A neighbor saw firefighters smash windows to help with fighting the fire. RFD says all people made it out safely, and the Red Cross is helping them with housing. There’s no word on the cause of the fire. Check back for updates.
