It’s time for one of the biggest nights of the year for CBS. Sheriff Country and Fire Country are crossing over, bringing an event that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Titled “No Way In” and “No Way Out,” the two-hour event promises to be packed with an intense wildfire that makes finding escaped convicts much harder than it should be. Lives of Edgewater’s own are put on the line, and it’s up to Station 42 and the Sheriff’s Department to work together, even when it looks like the two don’t get along.
What to Expect on the ‘Sheriff Country’ and ‘Fire Country’ Crossover?
There are multiple issues going on at once, and one of the biggest is a wildfire that’s spreading. It all starts in a town next door, but it’s only a matter of time before the wind changes and evacuation orders are issued. Manny makes that clear in the promo.
Of course, this means everyone has to work together. As Mickey focuses on what she knows about people, Manny puts his focus on what he knows about fires. Their views clash, and if only that were the only drama to be had.
As Boone and Bode head out to a fallen power line, they find out that there are escaped convicts, and those convicts seem to be at the Meetup with hostages. Who else is inside? You’ll need to check out the entire two-hour event to see who is there and how it all plays out.
The synopses hint that loved ones are at risk. When it comes to Sheriff Country, Mickey has to make a decision that can have personal consequences, but from the Fire Country synopsis, it’s clear that everyone has people they care about in danger. Does that have something to do with the truck that’s barreling toward Manny and Mickey in the trailer?
Manny and Mickey Dated?
TVLine revealed something surprising. It turns out that Mickey and Manny once went on a blind date, and it is definitely described as a blind date from hell. They both have their own opinions about why that was, and they’re sure to come up across the two hours while they’re supposed to be working together.
What’s fun about this crossover is that there are pairings that didn’t happen during the first one: mainly Manny and Mickey. So, what went wrong? Maybe taking a cop to a murder mystery dinner!
